Sandra Whipp, SPHR, is a senior human resources leader with deep expertise in talent strategy, organizational culture, and people development within the architecture and design industry. She currently serves as Chief Talent Officer at WATG and Wimberly Interiors, the world's preeminent hospitality design firm, where she leads global people strategies across nine offices on six continents. In this role, she focuses on learning and development, employee engagement, and building a workplace culture grounded in trust, collaboration, and inclusion. Before joining WATG, Whipp served as Senior Principal and Director of Human Resources at HOK, and spent nearly 15 years in senior HR leadership at Leo A Daly. She also held HR and operations leadership roles at RTKL, giving her a career shaped almost entirely by the built environment sector. Whipp holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, both from the University of Maryland, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.
