Michelle Perry, SPHR, is a Senior Principal and Chief Human Resources Officer at Walter P Moore, an international engineering and infrastructure firm headquartered in Houston, Texas. In this role since 2017, she serves as the company's top HR leader, overseeing the full spectrum of human resources — from talent acquisition and leadership development to employee engagement, compensation, and change management. Perry brings more than three decades of HR leadership experience across construction, distribution, and healthcare sectors. Prior to Walter P Moore, she held senior HR roles at Balfour Beatty Construction for nearly 17 years, rising to SVP of Human Resources for the Central Region and Corporate Services, and later served as VP of Human Resources at Winroc-SPI. Known as a hands-on, consultative executive, she is sought out as a coach and advisor at all organizational levels. Perry holds a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts from Defiance College.
